Austentec Co., Ltd. is a company based in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, specializing in the automation of the deburring (removal of burrs) and cleaning processes, which are bottleneck operations in sheet metal factories. Since its establishment in 2002, it has focused on its main product line, the "AUDEBU" series, with a cumulative delivery record of over 1,200 units. Our strength lies in the unique development of work retrieval robots that are linked to the deburring and cleaning machines, providing a solution that fully automates the entire process. This robot automatically recognizes the shape, position, and angle of the workpiece using a camera, accurately retrieving, sorting, and loading the workpieces in accordance with the conveyor speed. This eliminates the need for operators to move back and forth between the machine's entrance and exit, significantly contributing to increased productivity. Additionally, we have developed the "AUDEBU Scan," a device for identifying blank workpieces, which streamlines the sorting process after laser processing. We continue to create innovative products that solve on-site challenges, making it easier for workers who cannot read blueprints to sort items efficiently.
